Dear all,
I was wondering if it would be possible to apply the MARTINI Force Field to wide area of clay containing systems like polymer composities, protein/clay water dispersions, etc. Personally, I am interested in delamination (exfoliation) of clay particles in water dispersions triggered by proteins or quaternary ammonium salts. Is it possible to modify the MARTINI Force Field to describe interactions between biomolecules and inorganic particles, especially clay particles? If yes, what kind of information are needed to do it?
