normal Simulation with applied electric field

Hello,

Im working on protein/membrane simulations with applied electric field (GROMACS) and wonder if Martini is compatible with simulations under these conditions.
Do you think there is anything that speaks against being able to observe changes in protein strucutre that are dependent on the direction of the applied field? I.e. if I want to observe the movement of a voltage sensing domain would that be possible with martini?
I see nothing that speaks against it beside that no changes in secondary structure are possible, but I would appreciate to hear other opinions on that topic.

Best regards,

I expect this to give unphysical results, since there are very few charged particles in Martini models. I don't think it has ever been tested.
