Coarse grained mapping of nanoparticle was created by Puangmali
Dear All,
I'm looking for the way to make 4-to-1 mapping of gold nanoparticle (Au NP). I have been trying to look for the suggestion from either published papers or the tutorial. However, I can't find one yet. Could anyone please give me some suggestion how to make 4-to-1 mapping for Au NP. Note that I already have atomistic positions of gold atoms in a specific shape.
Thanks
Joe

Hi Joe,
Metallic nanoparticles haven't been the focus of Martini research, and therefore, it's understandable that you have problems finding information.
I'd suggest you base your approach on other existing nanoparticles, such as the fullerenes. Take a look at Luca Monticelli's home page and papers on it ( paper 1 , paper 2 ).
Good luck!
Manel
