Reason for different number of bead assignment for same number of carbons was created by nandhini1992
Hi all,
I am trying to understand the CG mapping for lipid tails in DPPC and DPG1. What is the reason for mapping 16-18 C tail in DPPC as 4 beads each while the lipid tails with same number of carbons are mapped to 3 beads in DPG1?
Thanks,
Nandhini

The tail of GM1 is indeed shorter than expected. If I well remember, the 4 bead tail does not yield the expected bilayer properties.
