Hi!

I'm currently working with rhodopsin and transducin (for my master thesis) throughout coarse-grained MD. I'd like to add a myristate and a farnesyl to the correspondent alpha and gamma subunits of the transducin but I've not been successful yet.

As far as I know, the adapted martinize.py ( www.cgmartini.nl/index.php/430-lipidated-aminoacids ) should have the parameters for the Cysteine Farnesyl and the Glycine Myristoyl, but I have not found the way to add them.

Thank you for your time,

Marc

Hi Marc,

Can't help you, I'm afraid.

If nobody else replies, I'd suggest you get in touch with the authors of that paper (trying to contact directly Yoav Atsmon-Raz or emailing Peter Tieleman which is the corresponding author on that paper).
