Sugar models was created by P_Banerjee
Hello MARTINI community,

In the Summary_v3.0.b.3.2.pdf that's included in the files for download, the following has been mentioned: "New CG models with MARTINI 3: the current list includes all the main biomolecules (lipids, nucleic acids, proteins, and sugars)", but I couldn't find the force-field/itp file for sugars. Has MARTINI 3 been tested on sugars yet, and if so can you share the itp file? It'd be a lot of help to my project's case if you could.

Thank you.

Best,
Pallavi Banerjee

Dear Pallavi,

To be short, yes we are working on sugars, however, there is still a lot of work to be done. Therefore we expect them to be released after the main release of Martini 3. You can however specify the sugars you need and maybe those are one of the few we are currently working on.

Hi Bart,

I am interested in glucose, sucrose and trehalose. It'd be awesome if you have these paramterized already.

Thanks.

Best,
Pallavi

Heya,

After some checking and asking around, the only thing which is available atm is glucose. Which is not tested a lot.
